Evaluating and perfecting your social media strategy for Q4



As we're approaching Q4, businesses are reflecting on their efforts over the course of the year, whether business, financial, team, socials, and more.

Here are the top most important things we think every business should evaluate quarterly.


1. General analytics

Look at your backend analytics of whatever platform/s you are focusing on. Are your engagement numbers where you want them to be? Are you getting the visibility you want? Is your community engaged and are liking your content?


2. Website traffic

We like using google analytics, connected to your website, and seeing exactly where the traffic is coming from. Evaluate if your traffic is coming from where you want, and brainstorm ideas on how to improve it based on your goals.


3. Conversions

Whether you are looking for sales or email sign-ups, understand if your social media presence is contributing to it. What can be improved to increase those conversions? What in your current strategy works and what doesn't?


4. Audience feedback

Are your audience actually enjoying your content? This is also a great time for market research and asking your community/followers directly.


5. General social presence

Is it time to expand to other platforms? What has changed in your business over the quarter/year and how will this impact your overall strategy?
